im loking for some help with a noise ive been hearing, when i get to about 30mph and up i hear a humming noise when i press the gas, when i let off it hums for about 2-3 seconds then goes away, im not sure if its a bearing someplace or what it is. mechanic said u joints were good and filled the rear diff and said it was fine but nothing changed, trans fluid is full, let me know what you think or stuff i can check and figure this out!!!

 

something really easy to check that ive actually seen happen twice to s10s. check your accelerator cable under the hood. ive actually seen them where they come in contact with the pcv valve and it just amplifies the noise like crazy into the cab.

just make sure the cable isnt touching the pcv hose at all.
