Default Transfer Case Module problem.....

I have 2001 Blazer, the 4x4 would get stuck in HI and would not go to 2 wheel drive. We have checked the actuator, its not that or the vacuum system. So we finally checked the transfer module. It was corroded and some of the colored mini wires had snapped off. So i purchased a new case module that came with the pigtail wiring. I spliced all the wires (which was a bitch) and plugged it in! Low and behold, nothing. The lights do not even come on anymore. I checked all the connections, they seem tight. I also checked the fuse in the box next to the steering wheel to make sure that was good. Im at a loss of what to do next....please help!!!
