Transmission Adaptive Pressure Systems

Transmission Adaptive Pressure Systems
After reading the following two articles linked below, it seems that displaying/monitoring shift adapt taps and steady state taps could be instrumental in diagnosing and/or determining health of a transmission.

According to Supported Vehicles - Palmer Performance Engineering, Inc. these PIDs are in Scan XL Pro with GM Enhanced package (Yay, I have it!). Maybe I'll try it out on my lazy 1-2 shift on my 2004 Avalanche and the rebuilt trans in my 2001 Blazer. With any luck these PIDs will work on my vehicles. I know that the Shift Adapt TAPS are in Car Gauge Pro, but apparently not the Steady State TAPS.
Transman, what do you think? Worthwhile looking at them?
