Default transmission leak HELP

I have a 99 blazer with the 4l60e and was having problems with the transmission leaking g fluid from somewhere where the t case and trans meet, it was running done the cross member on the passenger side and leaving a huge puddle I read about the t case input seal which upon inspecting it it looked fine I plan to replace it anyway while it's apart but my concern is this small weep hole looking thing inside the rear of the trans where they meet....it looks like this is where the fluid is coming from and when I separated them abut 1qt of fluid came from thus area, is thus normal? I just don't want to put it all together and it still leak

usually when the input seal goes bad the transfer case becomes over filled from transmission fluid from the trans. that big outer seal is what keeps the fluid from leaking down to the ground. it is normal for there to be fluid in between the trans and transfer case

There is a seal that keeps the gear oil from leaking into the transfer case, a back to back sort of an affair.
I believe there is also a gasket at the transmissions tail shaft housing, Clean things up real good then see if it is coming from the gasket on the transmission, the T-Case is the same, check that one too.
Are You having to refill the transmission or T-case on a regular basis ??? like, is the lube running out ???
In order for the mechanic to have fixed the leak, He would have had to remove the T-Case, replace the gaskets then reinstall, and while He had it apart He would have replaced the back to back seal while He was in there.
I hope He did`nt charge You for whatever He did toit, because, if it is still leaking, He did`n do a durned thing toit.
