Default Transmission problem

I have a 99 blazer, 4.3 automatic. My reverse went out a few days ago, it has been driven very little the past few years. All the fwd gears work fine just no reverse. I bought some Lucas trans fluid thinking something was stuck from setting. I was told to drain some fluid out first. So I removed a cooler line from the radiator and let the engine run a few seconds, nothing came out, so I started the engine again and put it in reverse then drive but no fluid came out. What could be wrong, I have fwd gears and no line pressure to radiator, no reverse. Thanks for any help

I'm not much of a transmission guy but here is the no reverse diagnostic chart for my 2002

Besides the fact that most of us are not transmission guys, we are the additional disadvantage that most of us cannot read the proprietary GM ODBII codes that might narrow this down.

I feel it is a simple fix but I know nothing about transmissions . It was rebuilt several years ago but has only 20k miles on it. It was built by Carolina transmission
I am thinking something is stuck from setting for some time.

You can check the wiring and supply voltage to the trans. I can’t be of much help beyond this, hopefully and person with more transmission experience will chime in to help you. Good luck,

George
