Default Transmission problems

I have a 1995 s-10 Blazer 4x4 with automatic transmission. When driving down the road transmission shifts out of 2nd but will not go into 3rd. It will shift out of 2nd and just be out of gear and the engine revs up. Is there a clutch out of the transmission?

If you have reverse then your 3-4 clutches may be worn out, safe to drive in 2 until fixed, no reverse or 3-4 sunshell is broke or worn gears on it.

I have an 01 blazer 4wd I was mudding and got stuck and tried to rock myself out by goin from drive to reverse and after doing that it slams into drive if you dont let it ease into gear when you put it in drive and give it gas it revs up then slams into gear and feels like the rear end hops what could be causing this?
