Default transmission tag

I have a 93 s10 blazer vin#w. I took out tranny to replace but the tag was missing so I dont know wich tranny to replace it with. I called the local chevy dealer and there is two different trannys available for this year. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and can help me identify wich one I have or if I can swap out tranny and transfer case from another year s10.

is is 2wd or 4wd. If its 2wd its a 700r4 if its 4wd its a 4L60e. Those are the only two that I know of.

THD - Turbo Hydra-Matic
couldnt find anything on the TAD. I found an application chart applying to either the 4l60 or 4l60E for 1993 and the 4l60 was used in GMC Jimmys and the 4l60E was used in the S10 blazers. but the tranny id is stamped into the transmission housing....http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/2594/25739997.png
