Default Trouble starting 4.3

I'm working on a 2002 2wd Blazer and put a new fuel pump and relay in it. I put the fuel pressure gauge on it and it shows over 60psi when pump kicks on but immediately drops after and takes about 4 times cranking and pumping the pedal to get it to fire. Now my question is before I just start hacking around is the spark not hot enough? Is the fuel pressure supposed to drop off like that and if not what could cause that. Or is there not enough pressure coming from the fuel pump? Thanks guys I love reading through here as it's really helpful

I can't help you here, just wanted too wish you luck on the problem... There are a ton of good people here at Blazer Forum and I am sure sooner rather than later you will find the advice you need.
