Default Uknown harness

OK, I just bought an 96 blazer that needed new head gaskets, not a problem, done head gaskets before. So I'm new to your community
However, while pulling the distributor I broke a round wire harness/connector just under the distributor on the drivers side connected to a sensor I don't know what it is. Any idea's?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Not the knock rod sensor, I know where that is, one of my buddies suggested the oil sending unit, does that sound possible?
Thanks
