Vacuum routing

Does anyone have a vacuum diagram for the transfer case switch? I am putting my 56 willys wagon body on a s10 blazer frame and i got a transfer case from a 89 s10 blazer. If not a diagram just tell me which one goes where haha. Thank you. Rob

The NP231 (or NV231) and NP233 (or NV233) both share the same vacuum hose routing.

This schematic shows you the routing:

Here's another one:

And here's the switch pinout:

You should be able to find more info by searching the forum.

will the vacuum diagram posted for the 56 willys be the same for a 99 blazer?

Does anyone no if the vacuum lines will mess with the 4 wheel drive? seems like mine sometimes seems like it is in 4 wheel drive....it really sucks down the gas i went 200 miles and used a tank and half of gas...need suggestions please

As stated, the vacuum schematic applies to the NV231 and the NV233. The NV231 is a manual floor shift transfer case while the NV233 is the 2-button (1st gen) and 3-button (2nd gen) electric shift transfer case. If you have the 4-button switch in the dash you have the NV236 which does not have the switch on the transfer case, but rather, an electric solenoid located on the firewall. Vacuum runs from the engine through a check valve and some t's to the solenoid and then down to the actuator under the battery.

A loss of vacuum will affect 4wd operation in all 4wd s-series trucks (not awd though).

As far as your other problems, please create a new thread to discuss them.
