Verifying 1-2 solenoid, with video
Hey folks,
2000 Blazer 4 door, 2wd, LS, 164K Miles.
Leaky trans pan, sometimes rough 1-2 shift, and unknown service history prompted me to drop trans pan, change filter and fluid.
Noticed that one of the solenoids is floppy.
There are two next to each other, the one on the passenger side is loosie-goosy.
Just verifying that this is what is addressed in the TSB, so I can order the appropriate parts.
I say "What the hell?" in there once so if that's something you are sensitive to... do whatever it is you do in that situation

Looks to be normal. Solenoid B is not under spring tension as solenoid A is. But take a close look at it as solenoid B is easily broken when removing pan. It will be loose as compared to solenoid A.
Good luck
