Default Water/Engine Problem

Hey everyone need some advice. So to make things short water was sucked up through my intake. Took the plugs out cleaned it up turned with the plugs out got all the water out changed the oil and oil filter and it runs but not as much power as before. Although its only been a few hours, I know there is probably still some water in the oil so I plan on changing it every day or so until the water is gone, Is this the best way to do this? I sunk the thing up to where water came into the cab right above the speakers wouldnt adivse it unless you have rubber flooring like I do

So far you are doing good. Really you only need to do one oil change. Any little residue of water will be boiled off. Its COOLANT in your oil that you need to be worried about.

Clean your MAF sensor and IAT sensor. Could be gummed up with whatever muddy water you sucked up.

Clean out and dry your distributor cap.

Hope you didn't hydrolock your engine.
