Default Water in transmission

Can anyone tell me if there is any chance my transmission is ok .. what happent was i drove through a river and water got sucked into my air intake and killed my engine right there, anyway got it towed out and back to town to change the oil and get the water out of my engine and check the transmission fluid, after all that i went for a test drive and checked the transmission fluid again and it was fine but after i drove for another 20 or 30 mins i hurd my transmission start reving really loud, after about a minute max of that i turned the engine off and got it towed home. so im just wondering if that one minute of driving completly killed my transmission???

Doesn't sound water related... sounds like a clutch pack is/has fried.

What are the specifics of the truck - how many miles as well?

If it doesnt want to shift into another gear and the engine revs high,Your pretty much stuck with a bad tranny. Try the flush,if it doesnt work you'll only be out say 20 bucks on fluid. Dont even drop the pan, just loosen a trans cooler line at the radiator and run a hose off it into a jug, start it up,drain a few quarts, add a few, repeat until its clean.

Haha john shutup.

Just so i cover my butt, when you disconnect the line, clamp the hose TO the line before starting the engine. So it doesnt push the hose off, blow all over the rad, into the fan, then all over the motor. fill as its draining. Its good to have extra help, let it run for 20 seconds or so while filling, cut it off,add a few quarts etc.
