Default Weird noise while coasting

Hey everyone I have a quick question on my 88 K5 Blazer, it has the 350 TBI motor and a 700R4 transmission. Now from 0-30 MPH I don't hear any noise, but from 35+ when ever I let off the gas to say coast down a hill or slow down I can hear a noise similar to either a bad U-joint bouncing around or kind of like a break retarder. Now I know it isn't anything to do with the engine because while coasting down a hill I put it in neutral and shut the engine off and the noise was still audible. Don't think it's anything in the front end because I pretty much just rebuilt it, new wheel bearings, Ball Joints, U-joints the whole shibang. I check the torque converter bolts and they are still tight as all get up, and I didn't really see anything wrong with the flexplate either than a few boogered up teeth from the crappy starter I just replaced. So I don't know if it's just something in the rear maybe or if my trans is making the noise or something, I know it isn't a U-joint in the rear because I just replaced those and double checked. But for further information of the noise, at 35+ when I let off the gas I can hear it but as soon as I apply power again it goes away. Anyone have any ideas?
