Well this threads been on and off for awhile now huh? I've always used delcos. My buddy from the Army that had a 94 vortec ran densos and he swears by the densos. I might try em out when I do a full tune up on my Jimmy. We will see.

i've always ran Champion Copper Truck plugs in my 1st gens. never ever had an issue with them. lasted for ever. had 158K on the ones in my '92 Jimmy. checked 'em every Fall, only needed to re-gap them once.

but i've heard these 2nd gens are a little more picky.

while your '95 would be fine to use those Champion's in, i don't think i'll try messing with what works in my '98.

Hey it wasn’t that difficult to change the plugs. 15 minutes for 1, 2, 4, 5 & number 6. And 15 minutes for number 3 plug.
I changed all of them except number 3 from the wheel well, number three I took from above.

Interesting that I had two different types of plugs before I change to the new AC Delco’s. One Bosh with three electrodes and Bosh with two electrodes, three of each. And the Bosh plugs also had a washer on them.

Now it runs really smooth on idle.

got told yesterday that the NGK's and AC Delco's are literally the same plugs just branded differently but half price of delco's

Picked up NGK Platinum's NGK wires, and AC Delco Distro cap & rotor - this weeks plan

I have had the NGK Plats in for a couple of months now and it is running great but I also ran the Bosh Plats for 100,000 km before that and it ran great also.
