Default What's your oil pressure?

What's your oil pressure running at idle and under way? 4.3v6
Mine warmed up isapproximately 35psi idle and 45 psi under way.
Much higher when cold... 95 LS,4x4,4.3,auto

Mine is about 65 underway and about 40 when just started.

I think at a bare minimum you need about 10 pounds per 1000 Rpm. ive never heard of anyone having a problem from it being too high

Sorry I went out today and made sure I looked at my pressue. Its about 55 when driving around and pretty much exactly 40 when ideling.

Oil pressure specs for a '99 4.3L engine
Specification
[ol]42kPa (6psig) minimum, at 1,000RPM
125kPa (18psig) minimum, at 2,000RPM
166kPa (24psig) minimum, at 4,000RPM [/ol]
