why is my t-case engaging in 4 high on its own?
I have an 87 k5 blazer that we recently replaced the tranny in, now when I drive it it slips into 4 high on its own. I know that the tranny mounts need to be replaced. Would worn tranny mounts cause this to happen or am I looking at replacing my transfer case? Any other ideas on what would cause this? I also need my carb cleaned, it bogs when stopping and runs rough. I don't think one has to do with the other, but I am not mechanically inclined by any means. I just would like to know what best to spend money on to fix. Any help is greatly appreciated. (my hubby keeps telling me it will cost more than its worth to fix but I just think he's jealous cause my rig is bigger than his,
.)
