Default Will a 94-97 Camaro 4L60E work in 2001 Blazer 4x4

I am having trouble finding a 4L60e out of a 4x4 Blazer or S10 locally to swap out (lost 3-4 clutches), however I have found many F-body 4L60e's for sale locally. Will it work in my Blazer?

You'll need the tailshaft and tail piece out of your 4x4 to work with the Transfer case, but other than that it should work. You'll probably have better shifting with the "high performance" setup of the tranny (Shift servos, etc.)

I'm not sure if the electronics will match up between a 97 and a 2001 though, I believe they only went to OBDII in '98

You have to gut the transmission to swap tail shafts. If you feel comfortable doing that, then have at it. If not, you likely will pay almost the same to have a shop do it as you would to have them change the 3-4 clutch.
