will v8 4l60e 4x4 trans bolt onto 96 blazer 4.3?

I'm doing a straight axle conversion on my 96 2 wheel drive blazer and I was wondering if a v-8 4l60e transmission would bolt up to my 4.3? Also any info on crossmembers that I would need? Any help would be great!
I plan on completing the project by February and was hoping for a little advice. I work really hard these days and plan on dumping at least 2k a month until february. Thank you for your time!!
