Question Wolfsnack

Hi. I have a '95 Blazer (4.3 V6 auto). The vehicle is in great shape, but I have a transmission issue. If parked with the front nosed downhill and parked, there is no problem. If the vehicle is parked with the front up higher, then transmission fluid leaks out...a lot of it...I have to carry a couple liters with me all of the time just in case. I have been underneath for a look, but the fluid is not leaking from the pan gasket...it is dripping down from somewhere mote topside on the transmission. I am not able to see where, as my head isn't small enough to actually look in that 1/4 inch space and a mirror hasn't revealed any cosmic truths. Has anyone come across this problem? If so, how did you repair it? Thanks.

It could be leaking around where the dip stick tube fits into the transmission case.

Have you tried cleaning the suspect areas really well then inspecting them while it is leaking to try and narrow down the source?
