1971 Blazer body problems
Hello everybody, I'm wondering if somebody could help with with my little problem.
Ok I own a 1971 blazer and when i take the hard top off, it becomes hard to open and close the front doors (due to body flex obviously) my question is- What would be a good way to stiffen up the body so that this doesn't happen Basically i'm hoping I don't have to do some crazy frame off stuff!
any help is most appreciated .....Ok, i lied, its a Jimmy but still ! Thanks

RE: 1971 Blazer body problems
Being the former owner of a '70 Jimmy myself I can only think that the problem is with the frame [sm=smiley13.gif]
If the frame is flexing when you remove the canopy then the doors would probably be a tighter fit at the top.
I have a '74 that I had to have some frame work repaired on for a similar problem. I just had a cracked section replaced at a frame shop.
