1975 blazer factory roll bar bolt size
Does anyone know the size and length of the bolt that goes from the roll bar(not to the floor) to the "bed side"? I think it's 1/2 13, but if I remember correctly it's a shoulder bolt and I don't remember the length. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've looked everywhere and can't find it, it seems to be a somewhat specialized bolt.

My '74 is down at my storage barn at the moment and I haven't looked all that close at the roll bar in it to determine if it is a factory bar as shown in the image from the parts & illustrations manual that I have or an aftermarket bar, but I can confirm that the stock roll bar fastener to the inside of the rear fender is a shoulder bolt (item #2) as can be seen in the image below:

That's probably going to be a hard one to find. Maybe you can make a "shoulder bolt" with a regular 1/2" bolt and a short length of 1/2" ID metal tubing? It should be fairly easy to measure the length you need.

That was my first thought as well, Tom.
My second thought was to chuck up a 5/8" or 3/4" bolt in a lathe & machine the 1/2-13 threads onto the end of it. That is what it kind of looks like they did for the factory fastener. You would still need to measure the distance between the face of the flange on the roll bar back to the inner quarter panel face to get the proper length from shoulder to the head of the bolt.
Grainger also has A LOT OF OPTIONS. They all look like they are socket head so they may not be factory correct.
