1987 Chevy Blazer K-5 Silverado Curb Weight
I had a 1987 Chevy Blazer K-5 Silverado when I was younger and was checking out the specs online when I saw the weight listed as 4400ish lbs on this site:
http://coloradok5.com/specs.shtml#1987
Anyway, I was arguing with a friend that I remembered seeing the weight in the owner's manual in the range of 5700lbs. Could that have been GVWR or something different than weight? Or do you think that website might be wrong? I find it hard to believe a vehicle that massive with a hitch and winch weighted just 4400lbs.
First time poster. Thanks for any responses!

GVWR was 6100-6250lbs (depending on equipment) for 1987. The curb weight was in the 4400lb range and also changed depending on what the truck was originally equiped with. With the optional diesel engine, the curb weight was much closer to 5000lbs.
I have always found CK5's specs to be pretty spot on. My '74 is right at 3900lbs without a driver the way it sits.
