Default 1988 K5 Replace wiper blades

I searched for this and could find no information on how to replace the wiper blades on a K5 Blazer, especially on a 1988. My owners manual says nothing about the wipers at all, it only talks about the pulse wiper controls. Can someone please tell me how to replace blades on my truck?

Thank you

They should have a little tab that you push to disengage the catch inside the wiper arm that will allow you to pull it free from the pin on the arm.

I suggest wearing some gloves for this as the metal strips in the wiper blades can slice your hands up pretty good.

usually when for some reason the car designers make it that you need a phd in engineering to change wiperblades ill just destroy the old ones to get them off. the new ones usually snap on one way or another

Thank you, swartlkk. When I push the little tab in, do I pull the wiper blade down, or do I push the wiper blade up?
