350 Won't Start
I have an '88 K-5 Blazer with a 350 TBI. I've been having a lot of fuel pump problems over the past year. My first pump went so I replaced it, but while I was doing maintenance on the second pump, it stopped working. Now I'm on my third pump and it works fine, my problem is that the fuel isn't getting to the engine. When the engine is primed it runs fine, but no fuelmakes it up so it stalls out.The fuel makes it to the filter then seems to disappear. The lines have been blown clean and there is no visible leak. Any one got any ideas?
Have you ensured that there are no kinks in the line? Have you removed the connection at the back of the throttle body and checked the fuel pressure there with an inline gauge connector?
So when you try to start the truck, you cannot see fuel spraying out of the injectors in the throttle body?
The only other thing that I had thought of is a leaking TBI base gasket, but if you cannot see any fuel coming out of the injectors, then it probably is not that.
