back window wont go down. took the shell off, the motor made noise a few times now nothing. any ideas where to start

oisinirish is an unknown quantity at this point

Unplug the motor and then check voltage while working the window switch. If voltage is good then probably a bad motor. If voltage is weak or non-existent then I'd check the fuse block and possibly the relay.
