Default 85 K5 blazer Turn signal and low and high beam issues

Hello,
I have been working on my K5 for a few days and I can't seem to solve my electrical issue. I have replace the light switch and the turn signal switch and the turn signal lever. My low beams work but not high high beams or vise versa. Turn signals work differently when the light switch is on. When light switch is on and I turn right turn signal blinkers come on. All lightbulbs work. One more thing It has a car alarm and the alarm system is hooked up to the light switch I removed it and there is no change. I did find that the painter clipped the wires to the alarm speaker. But I don't know how that would affect anything else. The one other thing that I can add is that headlights used to work before I took the K5 for a paint job. Possible bad ground but do not know where to start. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad ground to me, too. IIRC, the grounds are on the radiator support, near the back of the headlights. I would start there.
