Did you thoroughly clean the throttle body while you had it off? It would not cause your hesitation at medium to heavy throttle, but it would cause the idle quality problem.

Concerning the fuel supply, your confirmation is a fuel pressure test away. You will need to get an adapter to connect a gauge to the back of the throttle body. You need 8-10psi all of the time for the engine to function properly.

Default Get a good fuel pump installed

34sac:

Replace your fuel pump and replace your O2 sensor too ($29 sensor at Kragen) if you have a catalytic converter in your truck. Good Luck and happy driving.
