Default '88 blazer Window wiring harness

My driver side winow stopped working and when I pulled the door panel 2 of the 6 wire had broke off at the wiring harness. Seems like it should have been a ten minute fix, but turns out more complicated. Has anyone ever had any luck getting the metal clips that go inside the harness out? Seems like $30 just to replace the harness is a bit steep.

Well, got the metal connectors with the clips out of the harness with a glasses repair kit screw driver without breaking anything, but didn't look like you could reuse them at all. Ended up putting in a few generic disconnect type connectors, will see if they hold for very long.
