Hello!, im new to this forum and i recently have gotten a 88 k5 blazer. I started digging into it and noticed i needed to find a tailgate for it (was a bit rusty), but before i dove into that i was going to use the original one for now. I need to replace the hinges because the ones that are on it seem to be very stiff. I cant seem to get them to loosen up abit and ive searched everywhere to try to find new hinges but ive had no luck finding them anywhere. This is the same for the tailgate, id like to get a new tailgate and put all the guts out of the original into a new one but i was surprised to see that not even LMC makes reproductions of that tailgate or even the hinges for that matter. Does anyone know where i could get a pair of hinges and possibly a new(ish) tailgate? thanks!
