What's involved in converting from r12 to 134?

 

I've never done it before but from listening to people you got to recover all the coolant and oil, flush the system change the fittings and refill. But, there is a supplement that works just like R12 and you don't got to change anything but some shops won't do it because it is kind of a back door method.
