auto locking front hubs
Hi all
the front auto hubs on my K5 don t seem to want to lock in. When I bought the truck,I had to re do a lot of jobs on it that the guy before me just bodged,so i suspect these are not right in some way.when i remove the cover, there is a large spring held in place by a spring clip on the end of the axle, and then you can remove the locking hub in one large piece by removing a spring clip from around the outside of it.does all this sound familiar? Any thoughts guys? The truck is a M1009 that has been repaired I know with incorrect parts for this model, due I suspect to the inavailability of the right spares in this country. Cheers guys

Sounds about right. Replace the auto-hubs with manual Warn or MileMarker hubs.
