Default Back Window in the 84 Blaz

Don't know the history because I just got this truck. Anyway... the back window goes up and down ok... but when it goes down it leaves about 6 inches above the tailgate. Is this correct, or should it go all the way down below the tailgate? My issue is the back key lock doesn't raise or lower the window at all. I didn't know if this was the cause. But I would like to figure that out and be able to raise and lower the window from the back without having to climb into the truck to do it.

thanks

The back window on my '74 goes all the way into the tailgate. I believe yours should as well, but you might want to wait until someone with a newer K5 posts up.

Yeah i owned a few. The top of the glass should be flush with the top of the tailgate at least. Theres probably something bent or possibly something left in the tailgate preventing it. You can open the access panel with the tailgate down and see whats preventing it

Something is probably bent. You don't want glass sticking out if you're loading/unloading things on the tailgate. I have a driver side window that only goes up the whole way on one side, but still haven't got the internals straightened out/figured out.
