battery disconnect switch
 
im just curious on battery disconnect switches. i would like one that i can put in the cab, instead of one that is ON the battery. anyone recomend any brands or methods? just trying to get some info on this.

Do you want the battery to disconect or the ignition switch (prevent theft). They make relay's or solinids to disconect the battery from the system so you don't have to run a battery cable into the cab. If you want a battery disconect for safety reasons you could shop around for a relay or solinoid to put inline with a battery cable to open the circut then you run a swith to the cab to control the solinoid. To prevent theft you can have a hidden switch or button in line with the ignition switch to only alow power when you want to start the engine.
