Brake issues on Blazer -74

Hey!

I just replaced both calipers in front. Right side went fine, got the air out by pumping/holding method. Fine..

Left side.. *sigh* I cant get a single drip from the hose.. The brakeline from that thing thats under the radiator looks fine to me. The hose doesnt look damaged either.

What can the problem be? Any ideas? Can this thing under the radiator block the left line?

The rubber flex lines can swell internally and look almost new on the outside. Try cracking the line loose at the other end of the rubber flex line and see if you get fluid out of it? If you do, replace the flex line.

this would be what i would suspect if you crack the line before the rubber and get fluid the rubber line is most likely collapsed internally.

Okey thanks guys. I decided to remove the rubber line, and yay! I got fluid! ;) Ordered a new rubber line today, hopefully got it before weekend.

Thanks for all the help.

If you can swing it, financially, I would go through and replace every rubber line on the truck (should be three total). They may all be the same age and why have the potential of another line swelling up inside, cutting out or locking up your brakes on you.

Probably. But my goal atm is to finally try the fkin truck :P

Will probably be a total do-over later.
