code 13??

okay last night my "service engine soon" light came on several times for about 5 minutes each time. it came on today a few times too. stuck a paper clip in the ALDL and got a code 13 (O2 sensor) how should i go about fixing this??

Go to autozone, ask for a new oxygen sensor, pay them, say thank you, and install.

that sounds easy. guess thats the side effect of seafoam in the gas

I highly doubt that seafoam did this to your O2 sensor especially if you just put it in the gas. If you don't remember ever changing it, then it was only a matter of time until it went out.
But yeah, I agree, the O2 sensor is most likely bad.
As a general rule, I only use AC Delco O2 sensors in any vehicle I repair, but your's being a single wire O2, pretty much all of them are the same.

I actually put AC delco sensors in my Cougar, 45 bucks a piece verses 65 for the Motorcrafts.
I don't want to sound stupid, but what is seafoam?
