Default compression issue

so my truck (88 k5 blazer 350 4 spd 4x4) would idle but bog out and die under load. I did a compression test and found the no. 2 cylinder had 0 psi. I took off the valve cover and it seemed one rocker arm was way to tight, I backed it off and bam have compression but now the truck wont crank over to idle, if it does it quickly dies. spray carb cleaner it trys a little harder to start but still nothing, could it be possible that now that all cylinders have compression its not getting enough fuel, unfortantly no where around here have a pressure tester for TBI's. could the push rod be bent ?
