Default F-250 Shock towers

I've seen a few site now where other are putting stock ford f-250 shock towers on their lifted truck/blazers to get more travel. Has anyone done this yet. I have a 4 inch Rough country lift and purchased the stock ford shock tower and need to know show much to cut off the shock tower before I place them on. http://coloradok5.com/ranchoreview.shtml Thanks

I would go through the same procedure as done on CK5.com. Put the shock in the middle of its travel with the mount attached to the top of the shock and see where the bottom ends up.
