Front suspension question...HELP!!
Hey, folks! I'm brand new to this site so forgive me while I stumble through it all. LOL. As my name says, I have a 94 full size Blazer in really nice shape and I put a plow on it. The weight of the blade is considerable and I'd like to beef up the front end to accomodate the added weight. I just don't want it to collapse. A gear-head that I work with said that I couldn't crank up the torsion bars. I don't know much about that (yet!) but I'm hoping that one of you Blazer-heads could help me out. Any and all info will be immensely appreciated! What do you know, fellas?

You can most definitely crank the torsion bars. Had a plow on an old 94 K2500 and we jacked the bars up every winter to level it back out.
Now, if your bars have sagged and are maxed out, then you may have to replace them or go with one of the available lifts to get it to level back out so that may be what your gear-head coworker may have found. |
front suspension help...
I put a 7'6" straight blade on my 94 K5 and I want to help out my front suspension so it doesn't collapse. Any ideas?

u could run the torsion keys up and autozone carrys load helper springs that goes over the shocks that might help to, they suppose to help shock suport up to 1,000pds a set
