Just bought this bad boy the other day, it has dual flow masters and was used as a CHP truck back in the day. It idles a little rough, the interior panels are loose, doors dont close smoothly, passenger door doesnt open from the inside it has no ac or radio. Looks like I have a lot of work to do, not myself though. Any idea if I got a good deal? Any recommendations on reasonably priced engine swap? It will be my project car, thankfully not my commuter. Its a beast and gas is insane, mainly to be used for hunting, camping, maybe some 4 wheeling. Id appreciate any suggestions, esp on engine swaps, and other ideas. I'm new to this. Thanks.

I think that's fair, I just bought a 93 blazer 1500 for $1700 but it has a bad power steering pump a small leak, and 186k miles. Love the truck though, I was a little shocked when I filled up re tank and it dint stop at 20 gallons and the pump stopped at $85! How big is the Gas tank in this thing?

^^i believe its 26 or 30.
2500 is a little steep, but im not sure where you are. Ive owned 4 1st gen s10 blazers,i paid no more then 1000 each. one was 350,one was 600.,other 2 was a grand.

Is it a s10 or full-sized though? If I cherried out this blazer I would sell it for 5k I know Kbb is 2k but I think to a certain point it's all in how nice a truck is. If your blazer has some good mods done to it I wouldn't worry about overpaying, especially if you love it.

There must be something about it made you buy it. So it all depends on your point of view. Awful expensive hobby, though. considering when you fix all that it will still be worth $2500 at most.

*Moving to Full Size K5 Tech* - even though this technically isn't a K5 (K5=SFA, not IFS).
