3 gallons is enough to be within my margin of error when it comes to calculating my fuel consumption.

If you don't hear the pump do that 3 second whirrr when you hit the key then that is something to be concerned about. The pump is either not getting power or it is done. Start by getting your pump to prime. Sounds as if you're not having a problem with low pressure, it might be NO pressure :)

How do I get my pump to prime. And it sounds like your saying I should put more gas in it. If I put to much will it gravity feed into the injectors?

Honestly it sounds like your pump is fried. Get on rock auto,and get a pump. a actual ac delco (factory replacement) is only like 40.00 on it. A cheap aftermarket is more then that local.

Sorry I can't walk you through it like a factory tech. I've only had one TBI vehicle and I haven't had to mess with the fuel pump. There is a relay that provides power to the pump, I believe this is controlled by the ECM.

You should check for voltage at the pump and at the relay using a basic muliti meter. They can be purchased at any hardware store and the cheap one for like $15 would be fine for what you're doing.

Prices based on rockauto. Id advice you to get the ac delco. Delphi is just as good,but for whatever reason i stick to ac delco. Its just a opinion lol.

Woohoo. Ok She is up and running! Once I found out the relay and ecm fuse were different Ipulled ecm B and it was melted! Replaced it and she was good to go. Still not sure what blew the fuse. It is staying intact now. Thank you guys. Can wait to get dirty!!!
