Ok my husband just got a k10 1978 chevy Blazer, we traded our Chevey 97 Camaro for it so we can get around in the snow better.... When we whent to the guys house the Blazer looked good on the out side a few rust spots here and there but the inside was missing some dash parts and wiers were hanging out the spedometer dosent even work! When he wanted to test drive it the guy had to jump start it, it got started after I say an hour and a half. The origanal owner said there was some things wrong like the gas tank haveing some gunk in it but we used sea fome it. After he singed for it we were off going down the road it cut off then he got it started then at the light it cut off... The heater was not working at the time so when he was getting every thing all fixed I was freezing....
I think there are these proplems I know a little about cars. the first thing is the gas tank-The guy said there was a problem with that and he still let us drive off with it. second the spedometer third the gas gage fourth the ac/ Heating fith Sean thinks it might be the trany thats going out. sixth the passanger door dosent even open its missing a crank to open the window and a lock on the door, seventh the seat belts dont even work even in the back seat how can we get our kids back there safely when we have them? I really think this is a big money pit $$$$$ but if there is a cheap safe and fast way we can get this beast fixed I would be very happy so would Sean. So if you have any knoledge on all of this I would so liked it if you could help me and my hubby!!!! Thank you and have a grate day!
