No luck so far trying to get them to line up. I thought I'd start a new thread since its a new topic. But heres where I'm at so far.

I dropped the column, removed the old switch taking note of how things were connected ( or so I thought!) and I have the new switch in ready to mount. But here are the issues I'm having:

Actuator rod doesn't seem to connect anywhere to the switch. The angles are all wrong.

If I force the rod into the switch slots, the rod doesn't move while using the key and the mounting holes in the switch dont line up with the ones on the column. Heres a pic of where I'm at right now.

I don't know what to do now...

* I had a knucklehead moment. I just rotated the switch and everything fell into place. Bad news though... That wasn't the problem. She still won't start. Back to square one!
