Default k5 exhuast trouble

I recently bought a 1985 k5 silverado blazer w/ a non stock 305 or 305 in it with long tubr headers. Since it was straight headers I bought some glasspacks but the angle of the headers and the clearance was an issue...... any tips?

4WD?

If clearance is an issue, you have to get pipes bent up to get around the obstruction(s).

Aren't headers great? Its a love / hate relationship for me.[:@] There are other kinds and styles of headers. If these are the ones that you want to keep on the truck then go and find a good muffler shop. They will be able to re-do the exhaust to keep clear of everything else.

it is a 4wd so the transfer case is a pain and all, and i know im gunna have to take it in most likely for the pipes to be bent, but basically for me right now the only way to get it there is to drive it. any cheap fast things i can do to quite it down enough till i can getit to the shop? and im tryin to use the headers i got on it now even if they arent my first choice so if i can get them to work then i will just stay with them
thanks
