my newest toy has ...issues.
i just bought a 78 k-5 blazer for $500 i had to pull it out of the mud hole in the guys front yard but i wanted it bad. when i got it home i pushed it in front of a big rock in my drive way. it had been sitting in that hole for a year and a half. and came with some cool rims and 33's on it. anyway i get it home to find it has a 400sb locking hubs and were still debating wheather it is a th350 or a th400 the guy i bought it from said it was a th400 but the pan leads me to believe its a th350 but it has no kickdown cable. also i finally got it to start with the old fuel it also has only 73250 original miles the valve covers are still chevy blue and it still has factory mudflaps and front license plate. but heres the problem i got in it put it in reverse and ran over the rock in front of it. even worse all of the positions are drive rears if i put it in park and hit the gas it still trys to go forward?????????? its drivinh me nuts cause it was a realy big rock that it ran over and now i want to play in it but i wont take it out if it has no reverse. any ideas?

the shifter may not be connected properly to the transmission. Can you role the truck when it is not running?
