Picked up a 93 that needs a little work to get it back on the road. My question is what the heck is suppose to be in the empty slot here?
Also, what are these switches for? The lettering is rubbed off.

Thanks!

The empty slot under the climate control unit is not used; it should be covered by a blank panel cover. Apparently yours is missing the cover.

The switch on the left with the arrow is the rear hatch release. It slides to the right to release the hatch. If yours does nothing when you slide it to the right, you have a problem...

The switch on the right is the on/off switch for the interior lights. Push on the right toggle to have the lights activate when opening the doors or hatch; toggle left to de-activate the interior lights, in case you want to leave the doors or hatch open for a while and not run down your battery.

Hey Dog, thanks for the reply. I'm getting her back on road soon, been working on the tranny(rebuilding it), fixing all the bugs in the engine compartment(major tune-up).

Yeah it does have some electrical issues, I haven't gone throught it yet but I know radio is missing and the wiring is all screwed up. They took the cigarette hot wire and used it for the radio. I think?

By the way, mine is also a Sport, but it's red.

Are you being sarcastic? Cause it is fun. Spent sunday removing the manifold and adding headers.
