Default Odd blazer issue

Alright so I don't know if this is the right forum but im having an issue with my 1988 chevy k5 blazer

I bought it a few years back and havent done all that much with it Recently one of my fan belts broke and it over heated pretty good it didnt read line or anything but since then im having trouble getting it started It just sits there and turns and turns and turns but wont fire and start up? I got it to start up once or twice since then but when you go to give it gass it likes to die and once its off it wont start again Im not that great with cars and im kinda lost as to what to do...

So far ive replaced the battery, distributor cap, and rotary cap, i noticed that one of my spark plug wires got burned pretty good and Im gonna replace that tomorrow but was curious if any of you guys had a suggestion? anything would be much appreciated

change the plugs and wires and when it does start check the exhaust and make sure there is pressure coming out of the tail pipe could be a blocked converter

It could be a multitude of things.
A clogged jet in the carb, a hole allowing air to suck in to around the carb or on the intake manifold, or it could very well be caused by the overheating

In actual technical things to look for first, run a vacuum test while you're cranking it to see if you have proper vacuum.
Then run a compression test to see if you aren't losing compression in the cylinders.

The overheating very well could have warped your heads.
Run these two checks and get back with the results.
