i looked at identifix at work and a lot of EGR valves come up for "stumbles under load"

So i would throw one in and see what happens.

I guess there not as cheep as i thought. so here is how you can test it.


Turn ignition OFF. Disconnect vacuum hose on the intake manifold side of the EGR solenoid valve and hook up a hand vacuum pump. Apply vacuum with the pump about 10in. The vavle should hold vacuum. If it doesn't, replace the valve.

 

First off thanks for everyones input on this thread and other threads I have posted. My mechanic finally got it running, even after I told him to stop working on it since I didn't have any more $ to spend, he went beyond what most mechanic would have done and fixed it, without charging me for the parts and labor. Turned out it was a bad O2 sensor, bad map sensor and a plugged up vacuum hose. I was like wow thanks, and he said no thank you for your military service and shook my hand and said happy hunting. Good to know there are still some true blooded honest americans still left in our GOD BLESS AMERICA COUNTRY. Thanks again everyone
