Oh Wow i just learned something new. I know enough about electricity to know it has to come from somewhere. So I looked it up. The 02 uses a chemical reaction to generate voltage that the computer reads. That’s interesting. I always thought the ecu sent the signal to the o2 and the sensor used a ground to adjust the voltage signal.

You're exactly right about how most sensors work. The O2 sensor is just an oddball.
