Default Temp sensory

Hello...I just bought a 1978 K5 Chevy Blazer that needs lots of work. I am having trouble locating the temperature sensor in the engine. I am trying to replace the part but I am unable locate it? Can anyone help? Thanks for your time.

For a v8, it is located in the driver side cylinder head between the #1 & #3 pistons.
